In case you haven’t heard, veteran Portland rap duo Maniac Lok & Cool Nutz have a new album on the way. Red & Meth–a nod to the chemistry of the legendary East Coast rap duo–is slated for a July 22 release, and the first single, Gettin It In, rapped over a classic West Coast bounce, saunters out the gate with gritty lyrics about persisting in spite of circumstance.

The track has a 90s Portland vibe to it that feels good, and Maniac delivers a strong verse upfront that sets the stage for Nutz to slide right into the pocket. The old heads and aunties are going to love this one, for sure.
