HV Gutter is scheduled to rock TheTHESIS in February, and over the weekend he dropped a new mixtape. Young, brash and bouncy, Blaze Jays is a fun project that captures the rapper’s youthful exuberance over industry production. HV keeps the subject matter simple; weed and women are the topics du jour, and partying is the general theme of the 16-track outing. Turn up!
Full of energy and humor, HV shows that he’s got a good ear for beats and experiments with a variety of sounds with reasonable success. Tracks like Rap Life, Nuked In The Uber and Sour stood out to me, but I’m interested to see how these play out live on the 4th.
