Friday night’s X-Ray premiere was a huge success thanks to AIA Portland, Rostam Productions, and all of the artists involved. One part art gallery, one part rap show and one part movie premiere, TheTHESIS’ Friday component transitioned beautifully, showcasing each artist’s offerings as the night went on.

The all-ages event brought out both young faces and old heads as we converted a swanky gallery in the Pearl into a rap venue. Local photographer Riley Brown captured the energy of the party well. From Fountaine rocking a closely engaged crowd to Sarai’s coveted Kobe sketch to Rostam Production director Seena’s reluctant speech, Brown summarized the evening well, a talent he’s been showing a knack for. Word has it he’s got a video on the way as well.

Shout out to the artists who come out to our events and create more art. This really defines the spirit of We Out Here, and we appreciate it.
