Pursuing rap as a career is no easy task, especially in the city of Portland.
The latest project from Portland-based Rostam Productions focuses on telling that story. Put together in conjunction with We Out Here Magazine, the fictional web series chronicles the journeys of up-and-coming rapper X-Ray – played by Fountaine – as he attempts to live the dream of surviving off of rap. With a cast full of PDX hip-hop notables, a soundtrack by Samarei & 5th Sequence, plus a script by director Seena Haddad, the high-quality series is Portland through and through.
