The Bad Tenants are one of the funkiest rap bands I’ve ever heard. The Seattle (by way of Bellingham) trio effortlessly melds aspects of jazz and blues into their fun and energetic hip-hop tracks, singing, rapping and playing instruments along the way. Bottom line, these are some cold white boys.

As a fan, I’ve been waiting 23 months for this, and their 4th studio album (if I’m counting correctly) does not disappoint. Playful, humorous and surprisingly inappropriate at times, Mostly People will impress both orthodox and progressive rap fans and leave your mom bobbing her head. Produced by IG88, this album is 100% sample free, so everything you hear was done in the studio. Check it #OutHere!
