The other night, I stayed up way too late at Tron aka Old Grape God‘s crib with the homie Vince, admiring his abstract art. Vince asked what something was, and Grape God simply replied, “Individual interpretation, man.” We spent the next hour perusing and over analyzing the art he seems to effortlessly generate on paper, posterboard and even leather.
Now it’s no secret that I’m not a fan of his music – “You were just trippin’… hahaha” Tron casually told me after a less than flattering review in WOHM – but I am a fan of his varied artistic talent, and I think he’s one of the most fun people one could ever be around.
