Owuor wasn’t the the only member of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ camp to flex his wings of independence this week, as Wanz – the famed singer on Thrift Shop – dropped his single, The Christmas Song, on iTunes. I’m not a Christmas fan at all, but I can not hate on the big homie for getting his money.
When I met Wanz a year ago, he was on tour, debating whether or not he should stay on the road or get back to his computer engineering job… Looks like he chose right.
