This Thursday Mikey Fountaine puts Kami-Sama at The Liquor Store, his first-ever self-curated a show. And by the looks of the lineup it’s hard to see where he could go wrong. At the top of the bill sits The Last Artful, Dodgr, whose single “Squadron” has become a must-play anthem at local parties. Then you’ve got Mic Capes in what’s sure to be quality and engaging set, especially as he’s still riding the high from the impact of his debut full length Concrete Dreams. As if that wasn’t enough, the super likeable Fountaine and Donte Thomas will perform, along with Ton Jungir (of Renco).

But aside from the fact that the lineup promises quality performances from some of Portland’s most-poppin, there’s also an art component to this show that’s REALLY exciting: an ARTxSARAI sale featuring the stunning watercolor portraiture by Sarai Lopez. She doesn’t always sell her pieces when she’s showing them, so if you fall in love with a Lauryn Hill, Ice Cube, or Kanye west depiction, then you better just snatch it right up before someone else does and it’s lost forever.
