So there was a really bad all female cypher recorded in Portland a few years back and I mean it was really bad. So bad in fact, that I’m not even going to link it here… but this new one here is pretty dope.
Karma Rivera leads off the charge in the cypher which is hosted by St. Johns’ Vinnie Dewayne and produced by Stewart Villain. LA-bred Alia Zin follows before passing the mic to local crooner Blossom. LA rapper Vytell closes out with an impressive amalgamation of singing and rapping. V1Creative went crazy with the imagery, even incorporating a few local hip-hop cameos.
Great to see so much support behind (and between) the ladies of Portland rap, and the response to the video has been crazy. If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favor and check it out below.
