Portland Trailblazer Damian Lillard just signed a crazy deal to remain in the Rose City until at least 2021, then proceeded to hop a Southwest flight to Vegas. Coach class, middle seat. I know people who live in studio apartments that are less humble.
Anyway, continuing his #RNS rampage, Dame DOLLA (an acronym for Different on Levels the Lord Allows) took to Twitter this afternoon to drop one of the many tracks we’re sure he’s been sitting on, and…..it isn’t bad at all. I’m sure many people were waiting for something terrible coming from another pro basketball player (The NBA x hip-hop track record has been far from perfect), but give this one a listen. Dame has some clever bars (which we first noticed when he dropped by Sway in the Morning), decent beat selection, and you can see where he’s trying to go with the subject matter in his music. His delivery isn’t all the way there just yet, but if he stays in the booth like he stays in the gym, he’ll have no issue.
