It’s really dope to see hip-hop as an anchor in Portland.

Family-owned company Chown Hardware is celebrating their (remarkable) 135th anniversary by throwing a Northwest neighborhood block party tonight from 5-9pm in front of their showroom at 333 NW 16th St. The 135 Block Party plans to showcase a variety of the best food, beverages, retail brands and DJ’s Portland has to offer.

Vendors at the event include Rip City Grill, Taco Pedaler, McMenimans, Bre Doctor Kombucha, Sticks & Stones, Otter Wax, Whatif Creations and others. WOHM favorites, DaBooth will also be onsite snapping fun pictures as Danny Merkury, DubbLife & Neill Von Tally spin their best records for the crowd. All vendors will be donating a portion of their sales to raise money for an amazing non-profit organization named ReFit, which provides remodeling services for people struggling with illness, injury, or disability so that they can live independently at home.

There’s no cover, so come out and enjoy yourself for a great cause! #OutHere
